Visit to the Fiber Manufacturer Lenzing in Austria: Experience Sustainability Firsthand

n mid-July, we had the special opportunity to visit the Lenzing fiber plant in Austria together with our sales team and quality management team. As a long-standing partner in the development of sustainable fabrics for workwear, Lenzing is a key pillar in our supply chain — making it all the more valuable to gain first-hand insights into their on-site processes.

During a comprehensive plant tour, we experienced the various production steps of the fibers up close and engaged in in-depth discussions with Lenzing’s experts. We were particularly impressed by the company’s commitment to environmental and resource protection — values that we at Melchior Textil also live by and continuously develop every day.

Beyond the tour, personal exchange was a focus as well. In a pleasant atmosphere over a shared meal, we had many interesting conversations, brainstormed new ideas, and deepened existing projects.

The trip was a complete success for all involved and further strengthened our close cooperation with Lenzing. We look forward to continuing our joint mission: to develop high-quality, durable, and sustainable fabrics for the workplaces of tomorrow.
