Textile Expertise on Site – Customer Visit to MGC in Portugal

In May, together with one of our clients, we visited our long-standing production partner MGC in Portugal – a company that has stood for top-level textile quality for over 85 years.

Our production site in Ronfe spans around 22,000 square meters. Here, MGC manufactures nearly 20 million linear meters of dyed and bleached fabric annually, using a team of over 170 experienced textile professionals and a state-of-the-art machinery fleet. This concentrated expertise makes MGC one of the leading textile finishers for the workwear industry in Europe today.

During the visit, we were able to give our customer a comprehensive insight into the individual production steps – from pre-treatment and dyeing to finishing and quality assurance. On site, it became impressively clear how modern technology and decades of know-how go hand in hand at MGC to produce fabrics of the highest quality. Over the past few years, a 75% annual reduction in CO₂ emissions has already been achieved. In addition, by using regional wood waste, we actively help reduce the risk of forest fires. In doing so, we combine textile excellence with a clear commitment to environmental responsibility and regional sustainability.
